September 7th is International Vulture Awareness Day.

You can help save vultures! Make your dent in the universe. Vultures around the world face extinction due to poisoning, poaching, persecution, electrocution, and senseless killings. African vultures, with their fate inextricably tied to that of the rhino and elephant, can get wiped out by the dozens and even hundreds in a single poaching event.
