An Owl Prowl with Falcon Flight Experience allows guests to get an up close and personal encounter with not only owls but also with our falcon. Even in sunny San Diego, our highly trained free flying owls provide an amazing insight into the world of this iconic predator. We have three owls in our team! A spectacled owl, Ripley, and  Eurasian Eagle Owl, Guinness,  demonstrate the unmatched adaptations of owls. ABI trainers show visitors how to catch an owl on the glove, and you get the chance to be face to face with an owl in this Experience. While owls are not the most common birds of prey used for falconry, falconers have used them with varying degrees of success, as they are such effective predators. End the experience with a fast paced falcon flight! Our Saker Falcon, Halley, will show off her amazing skills and tricks to catch the lure. Once finished get an up close look by holding her on the glove.
