Kelsey started her career at a small zoo in Massachusetts in the education department doing outreach programs with a variety of animals. Once she graduated from college, she worked at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in Montana as an animal keeper. After two years at the GWDC, she moved back to Massachusetts to work at the Ecotarium to gain more training experience. There she worked with diverse species including river otters, skunks and porcupines as well as a variety of native birds of prey. Building trusting relationships with such a diverse group of animals throughout her career has helped Kelsey to build her skills as a trainer, and she feels very fortunate to be a part of the ABI team.
