Who They Are
Dorothy and Tater are the dynamic duo here on the ranch. They are mix of a Juliana pig and a potbelly pig. Their favorite job on the ranch is to roam and root around for nuts and roots to munch on throughout the day. This helps with the soil health of the ranch!
How You Can Meet Them
You can meet and interact with them during any of our experiences on the ranch. They are even our Behavior and Training Workshop guest’s favorite animals to train, as they are so smart!
Likes and Dislikes
Likes: Anything and everything that has to do with food
Dislikes: Brussels sprouts, they will actively spit them out!
What You Might Not Know About These Animals
Pigs don’t have sweat glands, instead they utilize wallows to cool them down in the San Diego heat. They will often have a pig pool party together!
